JAKARTA, April 14, 2025 – PT Lautan Luas Tbk (LTLS), a leading chemical manufacturing, distribution, support, and services company in Indonesia with over 70 years of experience, through its subsidiary engaged in the water treatment industry, has acquired shares in PT Lautan Organo Water (LOW), bringing PT Lautan Luas Tbk’s total ownership to 70%. This acquisition strengthens the strategic partnership established since 2013 between Lautan Luas and Organo Corporation in providing water treatment solutions for various industrial sectors in Indonesia.
The subsidiary purchased 3,780 shares of LOW, equivalent to 21% ownership, from Organo Corporation (“Organo”). The transaction signing was conducted by Budi Hermanto representing the Lautan Luas subsidiary and Kenji Oikawa representing Organo on Friday, April 11, 2025. The share purchase transaction is valued at Rp16,234,160,000 (sixteen billion two hundred thirty-four million one hundred sixty thousand Rupiah).
Eurike Hadijaya, Investor Relations, Corporate Communication, and ESG Manager of PT Lautan Luas Tbk (LTLS), stated that this increase in share ownership is a strategic step to strengthen synergy within the Lautan Luas group and enhance the company’s contribution to the water treatment business. “We are optimistic about the growing industrial demand for water treatment solutions, which will ultimately add value for our stakeholders,” she said.
Through this purchase, PT Lautan Luas Tbk now indirectly becomes the controlling shareholder in PT Lautan Organo Water, with a total combined ownership of 70% (49% through LTLS and 21% through the subsidiary). This move also reinforces the Lautan Luas Group’s position in the clean water treatment business.
