The Company was established on July 13, 1951, under the name Persekutuan Andil Maskapai Dagang dan Industri Lim Teck Lee (Indonesia), also known as NV Lim Teck Lee (Indonesia) Coy. Ltd. The name was later changed to PT Lautan Luas in 1965. On June 18, 1997, the Company has been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as PT Lautan Luas Tbk (LTLS).
